成人头条's School of Education to host virtual panel featuring educator perspectives on teaching during COVID-19

成人头条 University Maryland鈥檚 School of Education will host a virtual panel of educators
sharing their perspectives in 鈥淓ducator Perspectives: Teaching During a Pandemic鈥
on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. EST.
During the panel event, current and former 成人头条 graduate students will reflect on
how they have adapted to the new classroom environment amid COVID-19. Panelists will
share strategies, research opportunities, and resources, as they discuss how to best
collaborate and support students, staff, and communities as the pandemic continues.
Afra Hersi, Ph.D., interim dean of 成人头条鈥檚 School of Education, will moderate the discussion.
Panelists include:
- Clanci MacKenzie, current graduate student pursuing a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership; classroom teacher, Baltimore County Public Schools
- Monica McPherson, M.Ed. 鈥16, affiliate faculty, 成人头条 University Maryland; reading specialist, Brooke Grove Elementary, Montgomery County Public Schools
- Blossom Ojukwu, current graduate student pursuing a M.Ed. in Educational Technology; director of choral activities, Prince George鈥檚 County Public Schools
- James Screven, earned a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Educational Leadership from 成人头条 in 2017; assistant principal, Chesapeake Math and IT Academy, Prince George鈥檚 County Public Schools
