Technology

³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ issues an online account to each individual as they join the university. Online accounts at ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ are used to access email, access the Inside ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ portal, perform financial transactions with the university, and many more services. As such, the account is a privilege with its usage governed by the ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ Information Security Policy and Password Policy. Account holders should be familiar with each of these policies.

³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ Email

New students will receive an email from the Office of Technology Services (OTS) within 7-10 days of sending your admission reply form. The technology information will include ID number, user name, email address, and initial password. If you previously attended ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ University Maryland, you will not receive the technology information. If you have not received this information of have issues with your account, please contact OTS at 410-617-5555 or ots@loyola.edu. 

Please note we will send all communications to your ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ email address. You may forward your ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ emails to a frequently used email account by following the directions below:

  1. To forward your email to another account, log into your Microsoft Live account and go to your mailbox.
  2. Then, go to Options in the top right corner.
  3. On the right hand side, there should be a link that says Organize Emails with Rules.
  4. Click on this and it should take you to another window.
  5. Click New to set up your new rule.
  6. A window will pop up, and when the message arrives you can select apply to all messages for this preference
  7. Choose Forward or Redirect the message to (Forward will forward your messages so that they appear as a forward in your non-³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ account; Redirect will send them to your non-³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ account as they were)
  8. After you choose the one you want, an address book will pop up. In the box at the bottom, put in the full email address of the account you wish to forward your mail to and choose OK.

Inside ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ 

 is the one-stop portal used to access all ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ online services from a web browser. Inside ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ will house the web links for ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ email, webadvisor, and Moodle.

Moodle

Moodle is ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ’s Learning Management System which professors use to communicate and share resources with students in their courses. Moodle provides an easy to use system that integrates with the University student information system. Use Moodle to build your course webpage, share important reference materials, and increase interaction with collaborative tools that keep students engaged in and out of the classroom.
