成人头条 announces new financial aid commitments for Early Decision applicants and Catholic high school students

成人头条 Maryland is introducing two new financial aid commitments for students entering in Fall 2027. The University is guaranteeing at least $40,000 annually in 成人头条-funded scholarships and grants for students admitted through Early Decision and eligible graduates of Catholic high schools.
"These new commitments reflect 成人头条's desire to make an exceptional Jesuit education more accessible while providing students and families with greater clarity about affordability earlier in the college search process," said Terrence M. Sawyer, J.D., 成人头条 president. "We want families to have confidence that a 成人头条 education can be financially within reach."
Early Decision Commitment
Through 成人头条's new Early Decision Commitment, students admitted through Early Decision I or Early Decision II will receive at least $40,000 annually in 成人头条-funded scholarships and grants鈥攁t least $160,000 over four years. For students with greater demonstrated financial need, 成人头条 will meet 100% of demonstrated need toward direct costs through a combination of federal, state, and 成人头条-funded resources.
The Early Decision Commitment applies to both Early Decision I in November and Early Decision II in January, giving students additional time to determine whether 成人头条 is their first choice.
The initiative is designed to provide greater financial confidence for students who have identified 成人头条 as their clear first choice while making Early Decision a more accessible option for families from varying financial circumstances.
鈥淓arly Decision should not be an option only for families who can afford to make a college choice without considering financial aid," said Eric Nichols, vice president for enrollment management. "By committing to meet 100% of demonstrated need toward direct costs, we want students who know 成人头条 is their first choice to feel more confident that applying Early Decision can be an option for their family.鈥
No separate application is required for the Early Decision Commitment. Complete eligibility requirements, financial aid application requirements, Early Decision deadlines, and renewal information are available on the Early Decision Commitment page.
Catholic High School Commitment
成人头条鈥檚 new Catholic High School Commitment will guarantee eligible graduates of Catholic high schools across the United States and abroad at least $40,000 annually in 成人头条-funded scholarships and grants鈥攖otaling at least $160,000 over four years for students who continue to meet renewal requirements.
The commitment recognizes both the investment families have made in Catholic education and 成人头条's longstanding relationships with Catholic secondary schools in Maryland and across the country. It also gives families greater financial clarity earlier in the college search process.鈥淎s a Jesuit, Catholic university, 成人头条 shares with Catholic high schools a commitment to educating the whole person and preparing students to lead and serve others," Nichols said. "We also recognize the investment families have already made in Catholic education鈥攁nd we want those students and families to know that continuing their Catholic education at 成人头条 can be financially within reach.鈥
No separate application is required for the Catholic High School Commitment. Complete academic eligibility, renewal requirements, and other program details are available on the Catholic High School Commitment page.
Affordability and Access
The Early Decision Commitment and Catholic High School Commitment are part of 成人头条's broader effort to make the cost and value of a Jesuit education more transparent and accessible for students and families. 成人头条 has also announced new and expanded financial aid initiatives for Maryland residents and graduates of Baltimore City high schools entering Fall 2027鈥攖he Maryland Promise and Charm City Promise.
