Course Registration Advice from Current ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ Students

A graduate of the class of 2020, Priyanka Agadi created the video below to help new students normalize and cope with the emotions they experience during course registration, and to offer advice from current ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ students who have gone through the process of course registration. Priyanka majored in communications with a minor in marketing and was an Evergreen Leader for the Office of Student Leadership and Involvement and a Marketing Intern for ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ Athletics.

Below you will find important information on course registration, override requests, and withdrawals for each undergraduate term offered at ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ.

Summer 2026 Registration

Summer 2026 Registration

Students may begin registering for Summer 2026 courses starting at midnight on February 23, 2026, through via ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ Self-Service. 

³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ offers four summer sessions:

  • Session I: May 27 - July 8, 2026
  • Summer II: July 13 - August 20, 2026
  • Alternate Session (III): May 27 - August 20, 2026, specific course dates vary
  • Session IV (Maymester): May 20 - June 9, 2026

Course withdrawal dates can be found through the Office of the Registrar.  Add/drop dates can be found on the Academic Calendar.

Summer 2026 Course Override Requests

Students looking to register for a closed (full) summer course may submit a . 

All course overrides are reviewed by the department chair and are only approved if there are extenuating circumstances. The override request will not be processed if there is a time conflict with your existing schedule or if there is a financial or registration hold on your account.

Course instructors do not have authority to grant overrides.

Please continue to check Student Planning for openings in your desired course. Registration deadlines vary for Summer 2026 courses. Please check the Office of the Registrar for specific dates and deadlines.

Fall 2026 Registration

Fall 2026 Registration Dates

  • Class of 2027: March 18, 2026
  • Class of 2028: March 25, 2026
  • Class of 2029: April 15, 2026

6th course registration for the Fall 2026 semester opens July 15, 2026. Students must have electronic sixth course permission from their advisor in order to add a sixth course. Learn more about sixth course permission.

Once the assigned registration date and time has passed, undergraduate students will be permitted to drop/add courses for Fall 2026 until 11:59 PM, Monday, September 7, 2026 through Student Planning via ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ Self-Service. NOTE: ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ University will be closed on September 7th in observance of Labor Day

The deadline to register for Fall 2026 courses is 11:59 p.m., Monday, September 7th, 2026. NOTE: ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ University will be closed on September 7th in observance of Labor Day.  

NOTE: Sixth (6th) course registration will open on July 15th, 2026

  • Class of 2028: April 15, 2027
  • Class of 2029: April 20, 2027
  • Class of 2030: April 22, 2027
